SM Lifters-  6 Step Heat Treat Process on Rex Tool Steel Lifters   

This heat treat and Freezing process brings the Austinite to the surface where we can diamond polish the surface to a RA2-4 finish to virtually eliminate the Coefficient of friction between the Cam and Lifter face.  The Austinite itself is what gives the tool steel it's wear resistance.

Don't be fooled...all tool steel, the cheapest to best will Rockwell at 33-34.  The higher the quality the higher the wear resistance.

If you are required to run a Magnetic face lifter then this is your edge, 150-170 PSI seat pressure will help control your valve float and valve train harmonics and build More HP! Without Cam Failure!
